API Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 June 2026
These terms govern access to the Idmon API and data feeds. By requesting an API key or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.
1.The service
Idmon provides real-time prediction-market intelligence — signals, market and wallet data, and calibrated resolution information — delivered over REST, WebSocket, and webhooks. We may add, change, or remove endpoints and data fields as the product evolves; we'll give reasonable notice of breaking changes where we can.
2.Your API key
- Your key authenticates every request. Keep it secret — treat it like a password.
- You are responsible for all activity under your key, including by anyone you share it with.
- Tell us promptly at hello@idmon.io if you believe it has been exposed, and we'll rotate it.
- We may suspend or revoke a key for breach of these terms, non-payment, or abuse.
3.Licence & acceptable use
Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the data within your own product, service, or community for the duration of your subscription. You may not:
- Resell or redistribute the raw feed — i.e. provide the data, substantially unmodified, as a competing data product or API. Using it to power your own community, app, or analysis is fine.
- Exceed the rate limits or connection limits of your plan, or attempt to circumvent them.
- Share, sublicense, or transfer your key or access to third parties outside your organisation.
- Use the service to break the law, infringe rights, or interfere with the service's operation or other users.
4.Data, accuracy & no financial advice
The data is provided "as is", for informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, betting, or trading advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to enter any transaction. Prediction markets carry risk and you can lose money. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose of the data, including calibrated or modelled outputs. You are solely responsible for any decision you make using it.
5.Availability
We work to keep the service reliable but provide it on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee or SLA unless one is agreed separately in writing. We may perform maintenance, and may throttle or suspend access to protect the service's stability.
6.Fees & billing
- Access is provided on a subscription basis at the plan price agreed at sign-up (monthly, or annually prepaid).
- Fees are non-refundable for partial billing periods. Annual prepayments are non-refundable once access has begun, except where required by law.
- We'll give reasonable notice before any price change; it takes effect at your next renewal.
7.Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. Either party may end the arrangement on reasonable notice. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that threatens the service or other users. On termination your licence ends and you must stop using the data.
8.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Idmon is not liable for any trading, betting, or investment losses, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date, and where appropriate we'll notify active customers by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10.Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Questions? Email hello@idmon.io.
